                 Deacon Jonathan Hallett Jr. was born about 1693 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts. He died on May  24th 1783 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts. He was buried in May 1783 in Ancient Cemetery in Barnstable, Massachusetts. His Headstone reads "In Memory of Deacon JON'A HALLETT who died May 24th 1783 In the 91st Year of his Age". The carved image atop the stone is a round winged skull .

        He married Desire Howes on  February 17, 1719/20 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Deacon Jonathan Jr. and Desire's chlidren were: Un-named Twins( Still Born), Abigail Hallett (died less than a year later from illness), Thomas Hallett, Abigail Hallett II (died 20 days later from poor health at birth, had a twin (Prince)),Prince Hallett (Died 20 days later), Jerimiah Hallett, Joshua Hallett, Mehitable Hallett, Rebecca Hallett (Died at birth), Sarah Hallett and Johnathan Hallett III( who is the next descendant in my blood line.)

This is a small Lamson stone with a double tympanum generally used for twins. Note the rare use of "yt" meaning "that" in the second line as opposed to the much more common "ye" meaning "the" in the last line of the inscription.
