      Solomon Hallett was born on November 23, 1754 in Yarmouth Massachusetts. He was a well known mariner in the area and well respected for his hard work. He married Deborah Chapman on December 7, 1775 in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. He was a Private in the Revolutionary War in which he served in Capt Joshua Gray's company in Yarmouth, MA.  From November 1 – December 31, 1775. Then Capt Ebenezer Baker's Company in Col Freeman's Regiment at Barnstable MA. For 18 days in October 1777.  Next He served in Capt Micah Hamlen's company in Col Jonathan Reed's Regiment from April 2 to July 6 1778. The last place of service I am able to locate is in Capt Elisha Hedge's company in Col Freeman's Regiment September 3-18, 1779.  He Moved to Kennebec Maine in 1790 Shortly after Deborah’s death. He later Married a second time to Pricilla Blanchard on February 26, 1809 in Belgrade Maine. He Died in Waterville Maine on August 13, 1840 and is burried in Buried in Old Cemetery in Oakland, Maine. Solomon Only Had children with Deborah and they are as follows; Ruth Chapman Hallett, Tryphena Hallett, Josiah Hallett, Solomon Hallett and Isaiah Hallett( Who is the next descendant in my blood line.)
