Wanda F (Lee)(Smith) Settlage was born July 8, 1935 in Salem Township, Washington County Ohio. She died
on October 20, 2005 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center in Newark, Licking County Ohio. For Several years she was an
active member Plymouth Church, The last church she was member of was the St. Paul Reformed United Church of Christ in
Glenford, Ohio where she played the organ for many years. Her First husband, and who she had her six children with, was Clyde
Smith. She was married to him for several years in a less than fairy tale marriage before she left him. Her second marriage
was to Reverend Robert L. Settlage whom she married on August 28, 1971. During the 34 years of marriage with Robert she did
a variety of things from running Camp Akita (a Christian Retreat Center) of Logan Ohio, To Running A restaurant
in Lancaster Ohio. Wanda retired as a cook in 1996. Her passions were reading, traveling, lighthouses,
and plates.
Wanda and her husband Robert traveled often from stste to state. and once to Germany seeing
more things than most people would ever imagine. Wanda was cremated and her ashes were placed in the ground by her mother
(Clarice I Lee) and Her Father (Harry Lee)'s Headstone In Mount Ephraim Cemetery in Salem Township in Washington County Ohio.
Her Grave is unmarked. Wanda and Clydes Children are as follows; Wanda Renee (Smith) South, Stephen M Smith, Timothy A
Smith, James L Smith, Twins Ronald K Smith and Donald J Smith ( Who is the next descendant in my bloodline)
